The Bigsby

The parts are starting to arrive.

Piecing it all together.

I wasn’t sold on the Bigsby at first, and I’m generally not a massive fan of roller bridges, but I think it makes sense when doing a build with a Bigsby.

I also gave it a trial – I used a Wilkinson roller bridge on another build, “The Swagman” before starting this one, and I think I’ve come around. They certainly help with tuning issues inherent in all trem style builds.

It looks country, it looks shiny, but it looks like it wants to be there. It’s purposeful. And it sounds pretty good.
